Penneshaw is located on the north eastern tip of the Dudley Peninsula and is the first point-of-call for all arriving ferries. Fishing Hog Bay Jetty is a popular fishing spot here and the Cape Willoughby Lighthouse nearby is worth climbing for its incredible views.
Getting to Kangaroo Island is easy. SeaLink passenger ferries to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island operate from Cape Jervis on Fleurieu Peninusla, just a 2 hour drive from Adelaide. Travel time is around 45 minutes, with coach connections to Cape Jarvis available from both Adelaide and Goolwa. Once in Penneshaw island connections are available to American River and Kingscote. REX Airlines also provides regular daily services to and from Kangaroo Island, operating between the main terminal at Adelaide Airport and Kingscote Airport.
