The third biggest tourist draw after Sydney and Melbourne, Brisbane has fewer people and more sunshine than both. Its a little ripper of a river city, and easy to get around on the Translink system. South Bank is full of culture: the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, State Library and Queensland Museum are all there, and you're crackers if you don't visit Brissie's Roma Street Parkland and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
