Travel writers like to call Australia “a land of contrasts”, and as sick as you can get of reading that, it's bloody well true.
Every state/territory has a completely different attitude, climate and strengths. At one end, WA's got its whopping great size, mining wealth and beaches to die for; at the other end, NSW has its sophistication, architectural highlights (Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge et al.) and... beaches to die for.
Everything in between and underneath has its own personality, untamed lands and role to play in the diverse, gorgeously rich environment that makes up the real-life Land of Oz.
